We were able to finally get out and enjoy some time in the mountains yesterday. Here was one of my finds on our nature walk.

Pineapple Plant

This is the pineapple plant that lives on my front porch. We have had it for about three years now, and while it did have a pineapple growing on it when I first bought it, it hasn't grown one since. I have hope for it every spring when the old plant dies and a new one sprouts up, but every summer it's all leaves and no fruit. It does make for some good close up photography, so I'll keep it around.

Just Testing with Another Rose

Just trying to test out a tweak to get my photos to show up bigger. Thought I would do that with a rose pic I took at the Biltmore Estate in 2007. Hmmmm...what I wouldn't do to be back there today! " )

A Rose in January

A rainy, dreary day, but I was able to get a nice shot of my mini rose bush. The only bloom on the whole bush, so it made it even more special.

And then a couple of edits, I couldn't resist. : )
