Am I the only one who finds it difficult to write an "About Us" page? And how personal do you really get on a blog? I'm sure there are some things I could write about us that would have you thinking we were just crazy, and then you'd never come back, and we really want you to come back. : )
Let's see if I can cover the basics.
We are an Air Force Family.
Yay Air Force!
Jason is currently a Tech Sergeant, and has served in the military for 12 years. We are currently stationed overseas in Turkey. We are so happy to have received this assignment to be able to experience life in Asia and Europe.
Brennan loves the normal 5-year-old boy stuff, cartoons, cool cars, dinosaurs, and playing (preferable outside). He also loves wearing boots, riding in daddy's jeep, and being crafty with mommy. He's going to be in kindergarten soon! Where has my baby gone!
There are also two big kids in our family. Shanntel and Andrew live in Indiana, where we try to visit every chance we get. Shanny will be getting married soon, and Andrew is just about through with high school.
As for me, I've been a stay-at-home mommy since 2009. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it at first, but in fact I love it. Don't get me wrong, I do miss working sometimes, but I love being at home with Brennan. As you can see from the blog, we get into all kinds of things!
We have lived in 9 different houses in the last 13 years.
This was not one of our houses. Too bad, huh? This was a cool entry that I photographed a couple of years ago in Savannah.
Moving around so much can be a pain, but we kind of look at it as an adventure. We've seen lots of places, done lots of cool things, and met lots of great people. Our dream is to someday own an old farmhouse with a little bit of land...a fixer-upper, with a greenhouse, and some chickens, and maybe a cow.

How's that for an About Us section? It's a start, at least.
My other interests go along the lines of being crafty, arty, and thrifty, (sometimes all at the same time!) I also love cooking, reading, antiquing, and all that regular girlie stuff, you know, cute shoes and clothes and stuff.
I also love photography, but that was probably pretty obvious by all the pictures I post on the blog. I am the blog writer around here, (hence all the posts ending with my name), but Jason is known to write up an entry from time to time.
Well, that's all I can think of for now. I'll add more later, if I think of anything.
